6th February AD 2010, The King and the Queen of Prague Carnevale and their suite were given the right to launch carnevale from the hands of Prague Deputy Mayor, took over the key from the gate and the towers of the city and the entire masqueraded company opened the town for amusement and festivity. The sound of drums, whistles and bells dominated the streets, all visitors would dance, wearing masks and enjoying their right to hold the reign over the city.
All masqueraded visitors later gathered in front of the Old Town Bridge Tower, holding the tower key and let the carnival festivities flow into the other parts of the town too. Masks occupied the tower and as the sun set arrived, they took off for the charming journey throught the Prague Venice. On the board of Prague Venice boats, masks from all over the world would meet making the Prague Carnevale a truly European, or even a universal experience!

Carnevale Prague
Prague Towers
Pražské Benátky / Prague Venice
Muzeum Karlova mostu / Charles Bridge Museum
