Carnival Music & Dance Performances VIVAT CARNEVALE for schools

Carnevale Prague in cooperation with the Institute for Baroque culture prepare for carnevale saison 2012 for students of elementary and hight schools serie of music and dance performances VIVAT CARNEVALE. In one of the most beautiful Prague Rococo palaces. The top Czech artists specialized on authentic performance of baroque music will appear in a program called VIVAT CARNEVALE. Musicians, singers and dancers in period costumes and masques will present music, arias and reconstruction of dance and ballet of the famous operas XVII. and XVIII. century. In an exceptional stage performance you will hear music by A. Vivaldi, GF Händel, WA Mozart, JB Lully, Campra A., G. Finger and T. Albinoni performed by Baroque Orchestra Carnevale (Hipocondria Ensamble) and reconstructions of baroque dances  The Nobles Danseurs Ensemble and The Hartig Ensemble - dances and ballets with three centuries, will dance.

The total duration of the show is about 1h 15min. The short lecture to Carnevale theme and tour the palace are included.
