note is given that traditionally on Saturday, unconventionally February 11th, year of our Lord 2012, begins from 12.00 Opening of City Carnival. The theatrical and acrobatic performaces will take place to warm up every hour on the carnival stage, which is called Divertimento Furioso...
Carnival procession of Masks comes out of Clam-Gallas Palace at 2.30 hours PM. Furthermore, will continue through the Kings Road - the Karlova Street, The Small Square and around 3.00 hours PM it arrives before the Old Town Hall, where all masks will gather , and collectivly assume permission to enter into the city, and celebrate, celebrate, and celebrate the happiest and most colorful part of the year called Carnevale (or Carnival, if you like) . Then All Masks triumphantly moved to Old Town Square, where the Gathering of Mask will continue. The parts of celebrations are also a big The Best Mask Contest and the Race of the Golden Pig. Don’t hesitate and sign up.

"We call on, everyone, member or non-member of any network or center don't waste a time and prepare your mask, costume or pram and join the most popular part of Prague Carnevale. Let your participation undoubtedly be a decoration of it!
Each of you can register your mask at ucast@carnevale.cz and participate in the parade, so called, The Gathering of Masks. And not only that. Your application form has also become a "entry cart" to carnival contests, either contests of beauty or contests of skills.
We declare this. The inspiration theme of this year's is The Divine Elements: Water, Fire, Air and Earth. Their messages, each of you could apply in all categories.
Further declare. The disciplines are: Race of Golden Pig and The Best Mask Contest divided to three categories: individual or group category and category of allegorical carriages. The best of the best will be awarded the laurel branch and winner's carnival wreath.
Everybody who will participante in carnival parade or take part in competitions, keep in mind that The opening of City to Carnival - Gathering of Masks will take place on Saturday, the 11th February Year of our Lord 2012, from 14.30 hours before the Old Town Hall and the Old Town Square. Registering of Masks and costumed ones will be held in the accreditation center at the Clam-Gallas Palace, Husova 20, Prague 1 from 13.00 hours."

Do You Want to take part in Mask Parade and join The Best Mask Contest
To attend “Slet Masek” the Gathering of Masques 2012 and be part of it, please send an application form to the address ucast@carnevale.cz and register your Mask. Each registered Mask will not only be a part of the parade, but may also participate in the competition Masek and get a voucher for a drink and portion of serving delicious ham.

At the same e-mail address, you can also write queries or requests and to send us pictures of their costumes.
If you want to compete in The Race of the Golden Pigs
Sign up for the competition in accreditation places, either at the Clam-Gallas Palace, Husova 20, Prague 1, or directly on the Old Town Square. The least day of the event.
The finals will be held during Saturday afternoon.
The winners of both competitions will be duly rewarded.
